Thank You all who have donated so far to Mitch Dubey's family! It has been really awesome to see people support and we ask you help spread the word and help make a positve out a tragic situtation - remember all of April is dedicated to Mitch! In other news:

April Dedication to Connecticut's Mitch Dubey
We hope you enjoyed our little April Fools joke! On a much more serious note, however, as many of you already know, the Connecticut scene lost one of their finest in Mitch Dubey. On March 24th, in a violent and senseless act. Mitch was gunned down in his own apartment, presumably by the same person who burglarized his home earlier that week. Chuck and myself, as active members of the scene are deeply saddened to see one of our own senselessly killed and when we heard people were trying to raise money to help cover his burial costs and whatnot, we knew we had to help. With that said, Gruff Beard Records will dedicate the month of April to Mitch and donate all of our profits from April to Mitch’s family - all anyone has to do to support is visit our band camp page at http://gruffbeardrecords.b andcamp.com/ and download one of our releases - you can donate as little as a dollar or as much as you want and know it will be going to help a family and community suffering through these tragic circumstances. 2010 WAS AWESOME 2011 WILL BE EVEN BETTER
Just wanted to start this out by thanking everyone who supported Gruff Beard Records in our first year. It was an excellent year and we could not have done it with out you guys so thank you all so much for the support and get stoked because we have only just begun!
Also want to welcome to the Gruff Beard family my brother from another mother Jon Zanghi. Jon started out helping me with doing mail order and eventually started doing so much for the label I just had to make him part of it. He has an amazing passion and love for music and I am so excited to have him be part of this.

Dead Ringer "Enjoy The Ride" EP: 4 song Debut EP from Bergen County's Dead Ringer. We first heard these guys after I downloaded there demo and instantly fell in love. They play some of our favorite brand of punk rock and Kristia's voice is just amazing. Band is hitting the studio towards the end of the month hoping to have final mixes shorty after. New Shipping Policy: Just wanted to let everyone know that we are no longer doing international shipping. We will only be doing media mail shipping within the United States. On a good note we have now directly partnered with Different Kitchen Records to help distro all of our releases to any one who wants them out side of the U.S. Alan is a great dude and he will not only be carrying all of our releases but we will also be giving him exclusives for each release that will only be available at Different Kitchen Records. Gruff Beard Records 002 Nights Lights Demo Cassette: This is out now pressed /100 on two different color cassettes. Four awesome original Demo recordings from Florida's own Nightlights. Comes with instant download of all 4 songs go get them now or weep later when they are gone! Band has a bunch on tour to so go out see them and pick this up!

Gruff Beard Records 004: Sister Kisser Vipers LP/CD: The debut full length from everybodys favorites Sister Kisser. I can not tell you how stoked I am on this LP it is just blowing me away if you like any of there earlier stuff even a little you are sure to love this record. 10 amazing tracks of passionate sweaty awesome punk rock co released with Dead Broke Rekerds pressed /500 on colored vinyl and comes with a download code. The test were just recently approved and now we are just waiting on the vinyl, covers, and inserts. I may do a pre order for this I am not sure but regardless they will be up soon. Distro:
Tomorrow we will be posting our exclusive color of the Detournement/The New Dress Split Cassette from Shouting Street Audio Cassettes. I am so excited about this I love both of these bands and the songs are great make sure you do not sleep on this as there are not many availabe.
We have a ton of great Traffic Street Records items in our distro and more should be going up soon also expection some titles from Dead Broke Rekerds as well so check out our distro and grab some tunes.
